STOP PRESS!  Thursday 15th May 2003 - Hate fuelled attack by anti-democratic groups on B.N.P. councillors shocks Burnley  Tonight the enemies of democracy the Anti-Nazi League launched an ambush on the 2 cars carrying the 8 B.N.P. Councillors who were attending the Full Council meeting in their capacity as democratically elected Councilors. The following press release has been issued by the BNP in response to this: Thursday 15th May 2003 PRESS RELEASE The unprovoked ambush on our democratically elected councillors were the actions of desperate people who have nothing but contempt for our democratic process. Thankfully and only by chance our councillors didn't sustain injuries but 64 year old Councillor Stowe was badly shaken.  These tactics have no place in 21st century Britain and are more akin to Mugabes' Zimbabwe. The politics of intimidation carried out by our opponents who fail to involve themselves in the democratic process will not succeed and we strongly believe democratic rule should prevail over mob rule. In the light of elected councillors security  being put at risk by this cowardly act we sincerely hope that the fellow councillors of whatever political persuasion will join us in condemning this assault on democracy. The individuals pictured below were outside Burnley Town Hall on the 9th April 'lobbying' the Full Council Meeting - all six of them! The Pro-Democracy League had a counter-demo' with about 20 present. More info' on these idiots below will be gratefully received. Jess Edwards seems to attend every red demonstration in the North West and we'd like to put her on our Christmas card list.

2: Eric Smalley of 41, Herbert Street, Burnley. BB11 4JX. This creep has been quiet for a while but he's been observed on several red activities in the Burnley area recently. Typical of his Marxist cronies, Smalley has a tendency to be the hard man when he's threatening female BNP members in the street but turns the other cheek when he has the chance to do the same to blokes.

1: All we know about this cretin is that he's a regular on red activities and he never seems to wear anything besides that grey anorak. More info' would be appreciated.

2: This is Stuart Marsden of 24 Camp Street, Harle Syke nr Burnley. As well as being active in the Burnley SWP he is also very much involved with Burnley and Pendle Anti-Nazi League (now there's a surprise!) and from time to time he's their spokesman. It's hard to tell where the hair ends and the face begins!

3 and 4: Photo' #3 is definitely from Burnley (also #35 on the Oldham Reds pages) and frequents the Red Triangle cafe at 160, St James Street, Burnley - Tel. 01282-832319. He is very close to Spazzy Glynn Eastwood. He has now shaved his beard and his head but still looks like a real twat. Photo' #4 shows the bearded owner of the cafe with Glynn Eastwood hidden by the lollipop. Where are they now? We know the prat with the white flairs is Redmond Mellett, a Canadian who's wife was Janet Garner who apparently has some high profile anti-racism job with Lancashire police. She left Mallet for a big coon around 15 years ago.
The prick who runs the red triangle cafe is ANDREW MAKIN. His wife is called MARGARET SMITH.

5: This one's name is Councillor Paul Moore (Queensgate Ward). He has become very 'friendly' with Julie Waterson of late and was at the front of the 'Stop the BNP' demonstration held on 1st August which failed in its objective to 'storm' the BNP meeting and stop it.
He may have 'pretty boy' looks but he is one to be watched carefully not only does he proudly wear ANL stickers in the Council chamber he has also written an article for searchliar recently. Contact details are:

7 to 13: ANaL marchers in Burley, 11th May 2002. Any info' on anyone pictured here will be useful. The Paki' wearing the white shirt in picture 9 is ANDI ALI He is a regular at ANaL demonstrations. He is a post-graduate writing a thesis on the BNP. He has been spotted at ANaL demonstrations in Pudsey, Liverpool and London. Well placed sources say he is close to Julie Waterson and he is also based at the University of Central Lancashire.
