REDWATCH STATEMENT: Some of the demonstrators pictured on these pages may be taking part in anti-war or anti-Zionist demonstrations. We feel we must state our position here: As White Nationalists we also stand opposed to the recent war crimes committed against the Lebanese people by the Zionist terrorists occupying Palestine, we are opposed to the occupation of Iraq and the U.S. government's bases in Europe, but these people pictured on these demonstrations are Marxists and would just as easily be taking part in a demonstration against the BNP. They see the crisis in the Middle East as being just another excuse to gain new recruits. Can you imagine anyone openly representing a White Nationalist organisation being welcomed on anti-Zionist or anti-war demonstrations such as the ones featured on Redwatch? Indeed, members of Nationalist parties have been physically ejected when attending such demonstrations recently, and these reds are the people that claim we're 'anti-democratic'!

This is the long-term red (with the beard) known to Leeds Nationalists as Obelix. His real name is Rob but we don’t have a second name, our source couldn’t provide one, but we do know he is the local reds' main IT man - he sets up and runs all the sites in Leeds for various groups. Here’s his profile:
Male
39 years old
Leeds, Northwest
United Kingdom
Single
Pisces
Originally from Leicester, I now live in Leeds. I have just escaped from 16 years as a social care worker to become a full-time geek, working for Leeds Libraries ICT section. I have gone down the "Educating Rita" line, and am studying with the Open University, but have yet to give my tutor a haircut.
I am active in
Leeds Coalition Against the War, and maintain the website, which takes up quite a lot of my time. Otherwise, I like walking on the Moors, reading and eating (a little too much). Oh, and spending far too much time surfing the net and mucking around with computers.

Neil Taggart who is a Labour councillor for Bramley and Stanningley ward is a friend of Peter Lazenby. He's also been listed on a Searchlight online forum. He was chief prosecution witness against former Leeds BNP organiser Dave Owens when he was jailed under the Race Act in 1986. It's obvious by the amount of Labour scumbags involved, the UAF is just a front for the failing Labour Party.

Below is part of a conversation the Yorkshire Evening Post's resident red journalist Peter Lazenby has had with a Kevin Stannard - this shows you who this creep is working for: Red Pepper, The Guardian, etc., etc.

From Peter Lazenby

Aye Oop Kevin

I've gone on to part-time work at the Yorkshire Evening Post now, Wednesday to Friday. The rest of the time me and Gelt are building up our own freelance operation, named Red Lead Media - Lead as in pencil, and Red you can work out for yourself. Working from home I'm writing for trades union mags, Red Pepper, Guardian online, and also... Read More I'm working with Anne Scargill writing her life story which we hope will be published next year. So, plenty happening. I had to pull out of my Trades Club work last year. We were organising a big strike here and something had to give. I'm a trustee now, so still doing a bit for the Trades.
Give us a shout when you're around for a beer.

Pete.

[leeds-asylum-campaigning] Campaign for better housing
Friday, 4 September, 2009 16:04
From: "Peter Richardson" <peter@lassn.org.uk>

  AN INVITATION:

JOIN A NEW CAMPAIGN FOR BETTER HOUSING FOR PEOPLE SEEKING ASYLUM/SANCTUARY IN LEEDS .

Public meeting:

Thursday 17th September 2009
6pm (until 8pm)
at the One Community Centre, Cromwell Street , Lincoln Green LS9 7SG .

- Find out more about the urgent need for better asylum housing in Leeds .
- Help shape this challenging new campaign.
- Discover how you can support it or get involved.

We’re a group of Leeds citizens who want to help improve the lives of people seeking asylum in our city.

Inspired by Citizens Organising principles, and emerging out of initiatives including the Leeds Asylum Campaign Alliance, we aim to generate a series of targeted campaigns and projects that fulfil that aim.

We’re committed to working cooperatively with any individuals, groups or organisations – in Leeds , or elsewhere – who share our aims.

After much consultation and reflection, our first campaign will seek to improve the quality of housing provision for those seeking asylum. Specifically, we aim to hold to account the companies who house and (supposedly) support people seeking asylum – in many cases, very badly. In the light of the fact that many of their (massive) contracts are due for renewal - or not - in 2010, we believe that this is a perfect time to challenge/enable them to effect meaningful change in their practices.

This meeting will feature a presentation of our proposed campaign (first draft proposal also attached), followed by open discussion to shape it, then actions for people to take away and make it happen. We’re looking for people willing to get involved with the campaign – but we’re also looking for people simply willing to help us shape it, then support the campaign at arms length.

Please feel free to pass this invitation around, and we look forward to seeing many of you then…

Yours,

The as-yet-unnamed group of Leeds people seeking to campaign for the rights of people seeking asylum/sanctuary in Leeds …

Hiya, many apologies for list abuse but I'm a bit desperate... .

Having had zero luck renting out the other room in the house I rent, I'm going for a new strategy...Do you know anyone who needs a place to live for 3-6 months? I've decided I want to get my own flat but can't afford it yet, so would really really like not to have to move out, but if I don't find someone by the end of the week I really have to hand in my notice.

It's a proper lovely house in Burley and I'm pretty easy going to live with. Looking for anyone who is considerate and friendly, non-smoking (in the house anyway) and preferably a veggie but to be honest I am past caring : )

Here is a copy of my gumtree ad....
           ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---------
The attic room in the lovely cosy 2 bed terrace I've been renting in Burley (Beechwood Row) for ages is for rent as my friend went off abroad.

It's available either short or longer term, but short term at least 3 months really.

The room is really nice, it has a double bed with new mattress and a big wardrobe. It's got lots of light and a nice view.

The house is nice and homely. There's a big kitchen downstairs with a table+chairs, range cooker and patio doors out onto the wee garden which is nice and sunny. The living room is cosy, the bathroom the usual, the shower is really good.

It's dead handy for the Co-op, local shops, buses and trains and in a nice area.

The rent is £275, works out about £325 if you count in council tax, phone, broadband, TV license and water rates and the gas/electric are pretty low.

I'm in my early 30s, friendly and like lots of different things. I work as a teacher in colleges and do some community volunteering. I'm a bit of an environemnatlist and a veggie, prefer to live with veggies but also happy to compromise. I'll get on with pretty much anyone who's friendly and considerate really and am easy to live with. Oh and I bake cakes quite a lot : ).

Anyway, get in touch if you'd live to come and have a look round and a chat - katieplum75@ yahoo.co. uk / Telephone 07871374920.

Hanif Leylabi, SWP Leeds student who was the main one behind getting race-proud lecturer Frank Ellis sacked a couple of years ago. He's been a red for ages I used to go to school with him.

He was been working for the UAF in London but has another year at Leeds uni if our former 'school mates' are right.

His face comes up when you type it into google images and there are loads of ordinary google results for him.

We can't remember what his background is but by the name hes clearly some sort of mongrel or Turkic.

There was a bit about him on Covert Undercover Nuisance tactics few years ago - 'mega phone moron' was the title he was given there!

Another pic of Leeds reds from the June UAF demo'.

The guy stood on the steps in the denim jacket is ANDY BRAMMER who works in Social Services at Wakefield Met Dist Council. He's a SWP member and organiser in the Wakefield area. He's big pals with Howard "Tranny" Miles, UNISON steward and local UAF main man.
Blonde woman sat on steps is SALLY KINCADE, longstanding Trot/SWP, schoolteacher and Branch Secretary for National Union of Teachers in Wakefield/Leeds Region.
Andy Brammer lives in Rothwell, Leeds. His mobile number is 07894035820.

More info' needed ASAP.

From the CPGB 'Communist Students' members' bulletin:
"Communist Students had a presence at both of the Higher Education institutions in Leeds (Leeds University and Leeds Metropolitan University) over the freshers weeks. We have been patiently working to build a communist presence at ‘the Met’ for two years now – amongst other activities we have organised public meetings and a study group, distributed numerous leaflets and other literature, taken part in local protests, and stood a candidate in students union elections. This year we have extended ourselves to try and build a group across both universities. This has proved to have been a wise move and we already had a comrade from Leeds University getting involved from the start to help us with our freshers stall at that university. Unfortunately, not being an official society, we were disgracefully forced to take our stall off university property by campus security after our first half hour. Of course this didn’t stop us, as the bulk of our comrades continued leafleting (and signed up enough people to launch our own society) where they were, while we moved the stall to one of the campus entrances with a skeleton staff. As well as keeping up and expanding the work we have done in past years we now plan to help organise revolutionary film showings and build an active Hands Off the People of Iran group."
