He is Iranian and returned to Iran when the Shah was deposed to fight for the muslim fanatics, he went with his father. He was a candidate in Keighley at the 2005 general election opposing Nick Griffin. The bloke is a laughing stock within the council. He got a public bollocking off his fellow Lib Dems for not knowing whether he is a parish or town councillor at Hebden Royd. He's a close associate of red journalist Peter Lazenby in Hebden Bridge.
